DAY 2 • WEDNESDAY 16 SEPTEMBER • 15.10 – 15.40
Presentation: Accessibility at scale - Making inclusion measurable across global portfolios
This session explores how organisations can move from intent to action by measuring, monitoring, and improving accessibility across entire property portfolios.
It reframes accessibility as a core performance metric — alongside sustainability, safety, and operational efficiency — and shows how data can be used to drive meaningful, large-scale change in the built environment.
-
Why accessibility should be measured with the same rigour as ESG, safety, and performance
-
The business and human case for accessible, inclusive environments
-
Addressing the visibility gap in how buildings are currently assessed
-
Turning insight into action across global real estate portfolios
Bobbie Hickey, Events & PR Manager, Mobility Mojo

Bobbie Hickey
Bobbie Hickey is Events & PR Manager at Mobility Mojo, the Dublin-based accessibility management platform trusted by some of the world's largest organisations to measure, monitor and improve accessibility across their entire property portfolios.
Bobbie is totally blind and navigates the built environment every day with her guide dog, Josie — lived experience that grounds everything she brings to her work and advocacy. She is an ambassador for Vision Ireland's Wayfinding Centre, the world's first training centre dedicated to accessible public transport, and has delivered accessibility training to universities, Irish Rail and other organisations. A TEDx speaker and former Students' Union Vice President for Diversity & Inclusion, she has written for the Irish Times and led a national campaign for better audio description on Irish television, gathering more than 2,000 signatures.
At Mobility Mojo, Bobbie is part of a team on a mission to end exclusion in the built environment — by making accessibility something organisations can measure with the same rigour as sustainability, safety and other ESG priorities, rather than treating it as a one-off audit or a "nice to have." The platform has assessed more than 1,500 buildings across 30+ countries, improving access for over a million employees, and is trusted by organisations including Accenture, Capgemini, Uber, ABB, Eli Lilly, ISS and Fáilte Ireland. Its impact has been recognised with a United Nations SDG Digital Game Changers Award, a World Summit Award as a global champion for inclusion and empowerment, a Business & Finance ESG "Company of the Year" award, and a Tech for Good Award at the Technology Ireland Industry Awards. Mobility Mojo turns accessibility from a static report into living, comparable data that leaders can act on.
At Neuroplaces 2026, Bobbie shows how organisations can move from good intentions to measurable action — making inclusion visible, comparable and accountable across global portfolios. If you own, design or manage space, this is the session that reframes accessibility as a metric you can no longer afford to leave unmeasured.
